CREATECH presents new proposal V FONDEF VIU winners

2015-12-18In late November the National Commission of scientific and technological research of Chile, CONICYT, delivered through its FONDEF program outcomes of the Stage 1 the V contest of valorization of research at the University (VIU).

Fernando Ulloa and his project of veterinary medicine are among the winners of the Regional competition III FONDEF VIU

Technological research of the program IDEA competition in 2 Stages of FONDEF is soon to open applications

2015-08-13In 2012 the IDEA program is born in 2 Stages of CONICYT, executed through FONDEF, as financial support for the implementation of projects of scientific and technological research which could have an economic and/or social impact on Chile and whose results can be obtained and evaluated in short term. The day 29 October was held the 4th National Forum for biotechnology in the Campus Curauma of the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Valparaíso (PUCV), which was organized by the institution and the Biotechnology core Curauma (NBC) and it had the support of CORFO, Naturalis, Fraunhofer-Chile, More sustainable Valparaiso and compete more.

The event is configured in two blocks, one corresponding to 5 conferences and another dedicated to a Business Roundtable. Welcoming remarks were made by Dr. Rolando Chamy, Director of NBC, who referred to the role of core biotechnology in its four years of existence and of the different projects that NBC is currently developing.
