Sebastián Piñera's new Government proposals for science and technology, Innovation and entrepreneurship in Chile

University of the Andes developed 2nd technology fair where CREATECH was again invited to participate

The past 10 November 2nd technology fair was held in the Hall North of the library of the Universidad de los Andes. It is activity, just like the first version, It was the closing of the course "Design workshop, product" of the Faculty of engineering and applied sciences. The National Institute of intellectual property (INAPI) and the world intellectual property organization (WIPO for its acronym in English), with the cooperation of the European Patent Office (EPO for its acronym in English) and the Pontifical Catholic University of Chile (PUC), they organized the "International patenting strategies seminar". The event was held the 9 June in the center of innovation Anacleto Angelini of the PUC and attended the Samanta Elgueta and Susana Labra, CREATECH markets and technologies executives. The day 14 June developed the 1ND technology fair at the Universidad de Los Andes, This activity is part of the closure of the course "Design workshop, product" of the Faculty of engineering and applied sciences in that House of studies. Highlights that this course was composed by 149 the students of Civil Engineering in computer science, Civil Engineering, Civil Engineering and electrical engineering.

At the fair were they exposed 25 projects, which according to said Juan Pablo Oyarzun, Professor of the course-CREATECH client, "they had as a challenge make a contribution to the transition from the current linear economic model is to say"take, do, discard"a model of circular economy, This means "reduce, Recycle, reuse". Licensing Activity Survey FY2015: A look at the University technology transfer in United States

Year after year, from 1991, the Association of University Technology Managers (AUTM) performs the "Licensing Activity Survey", study through which data of the annual activity of technology transfer carried out by universities in the United States are delivered. This year, in its version number 25, We will review the highlights of the study.

Office of transfer and licensing of the Catholic University of Temuco, working in the generation of a stable link between research and industry in Chile from the region of La Araucanía
